Core Functions
1. BIM Strategy & Implementation
- Develop BIM Execution Plans (BEP) and project standards
- Define BIM workflows, protocols, and data management systems
- Ensure compliance with international BIM standards (ISO 19650, etc.)
2. 3D Modeling & Information Management
- Develop coordinated 3D models for Architecture, Structure, MEP, and Infrastructure
- Embed project data within models for better decision-making
3. Coordination & Clash Detection
- Perform clash detection between all disciplines
- Identify and resolve design conflicts before construction
- Ensure fully coordinated, clash-free models
4. 4D & 5D BIM (Time & Cost Integration)
- Integrate construction schedules (4D BIM)
- Link models with cost data and quantities (5D BIM)
- Support project planning, budgeting, and forecasting
5. Quantity Take-Off & Data Extraction
- Generate accurate quantities directly from BIM models
- Support cost estimation and procurement processes
- Enhance accuracy of BOQs and project budgeting
6. Visualization & Digital Presentation
- Produce high-quality 3D visuals and walkthroughs
- Support design presentations and client approvals
- Enhance communication between stakeholders
7. Digital Integration & Smart Solutions
- Integrate BIM with Facility Management systems (6D BIM), smart building technologies, and digital twin concepts
- Support lifecycle management of assets
8. Construction Support
- Support contractors with BIM models during execution
- Review shop drawings and ensure alignment with BIM models
- Assist in as-built model development
