The Structure Department at PCG Consulting Group (PCG) is a core technical division responsible for the analysis, design, and integrity of all structural systems across PCG projects.

Core Functions
1. Structural Analysis & Design
- Perform structural analysis using advanced engineering software
- Design reinforced concrete, steel, and composite structures
- Ensure structural stability under all load conditions (dead, live, wind, seismic, etc.)
2. System Selection & Optimization
- Evaluate and select the most efficient structural systems
- Optimize design for cost, performance, and constructability
- Support value engineering and cost reduction strategies
3. Structural Drawings & Documentation
- Prepare detailed structural drawings and calculations
- Develop IFC (Issued for Construction) packages
- Produce bar bending schedules, structural details, and specifications
4. Multidisciplinary Coordination
Coordinate closely with:
- Architecture
- MEP
- Interior Design
- Landscape
Resolve clashes and ensure full integration with design intent.
5. Technical Review & Quality Control
- Conduct structural design reviews and peer checks
- Ensure compliance with international codes (ACI, Eurocode, SBC, etc.)
- Review shop drawings and contractor submissions
6. Construction Support
- Provide technical support during construction phase
- Respond to RFIs and site queries
- Conduct site visits and structural inspections when required
