Concept Overview

The project is conceived as a heritage-driven urban spine that revitalizes the historic surroundings of El-Sayed El-Badawy Mosque, transforming the area into a vibrant, pedestrian-oriented cultural and commercial corridor.

The design celebrates the spiritual, historical, and social significance of the mosque, positioning it as the visual and symbolic focal point at the end of a grand axial promenade.

Urban Design Strategy

• Creation of a strong central axis (Spine) directly aligned with the mosque
• Establishment of a processional pedestrian boulevard leading toward the mosque
• Reinforcement of visual corridors and symmetry to enhance the monumental presence

Architectural Language

Neo-Islamic Heritage Style
